Psych Meds 101 for non prescribers, Introduction

In this series I want to discuss the most common psychiatric medications we use for non-prescribers. I'm hoping that this will be a good resource for therapists, families and patients to better understand these life-saving medications. It is not meant to to give advice on prescribing as I will be sticking to the basics. In this intro I talk about why dosages are different for different medications, answer the question of what is half-life and why are some medications schedule II and what does this mean.
